Orlando Sentinel – Mom caught breastfeeding, talking on phone while driving.
Ok. If you weren’t convinced that women were much better at multi-tasking than men, this little gem should do the trick. I challenge you to read it and not say “wow” out loud at least twice.

Need I say more? I own the IQ804 model on my desk with Cox cable plugged into it for TV. It also has a built-in DVR and 500gb hard drive. Add to that all of the great features of Vista Media Center and this is THE system for business computing in home/office environment.

Are you tired of typing and mousing your way around your PC? I have completely automated my HP TouchSmart desktop with HP’s Voice Action software. In the past, voice activation was clunky at best but I am here to tell you that HP OWNS the multi-touch/voice activation market – and they have some very nice hardware. Check them out at this link and remember that SimplifyIT is an authorized HP Dealer and everyday user of touch/voice enabled computing! http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/series_can.do;HHOJSID=21LMJngLJ0DJvmXn0FTVs12BSFSQQnZhLTMRxZNWnQ5Gsp1thL1b!-1312776840?storeName=computer_store&landing=desktops&a1=Category&v1=All-in-One%20PCs

I am amazed at the number of clients i have that constantly complain about slow computers these days. One of the first things we do with our clients is to assess their hardware components. We routinely recommend upgrading all RAM (where possible) to a minimum of 1gb to 2gb, but preferably 3gb if budget permits. Windows XP users are saddled with the fact that the operating system will only recognize 4gb of RAM no matter if there are 8 slots available or not. This is one area where end users can hang on to older PC’s for another 12-14 months of lifecycle with the proper care.

So for the past two years all anyone has done is bitch and moan about Windows Vista being the anti-christ of operating systems. I’ve heard excuse, after excuse, after excuse as to why end users hate it, but have little evidence to suggest that there’s anything wrong except – hardware.
The biggest issue with Vista is that Microsoft didn’t really prepare the average end-user for the hardware requirements necessary to have a happy experience. My employees and I utilize Vista on Touch-enabled laptops and desktops and have a wonderful experience with them – but we’re running machines with 4gb of RAM – not the average 512mb to 1gb that the majority of the world uses.
So if you really want to utilize a slick operating system, try rangling some RAM or go out and purchase that new Vista machine but make sure they max out the RAM!

Or end of the world, depending on your choice of calendar. The real issue will be what state he leaves Louisiana in, because regardless, even if he is NOT a candidate for President then, whoever is will surely tap him for a White House job. He’s too smart to pass up and let’s face it – the Republicans need all the help they can get in the IQ department.

Has anyone out there done their taxes yet? What was the LA state tax like this year? The last two years I paid in for the first time in my life, almost $1k in 2007 and 2008. Now all of a sudden I’m getting $419 back? Anyone know wtf is going on with this?
